Is Pandora getting TOO big?The back page of the 1988 Kerrang! Christmas issue, spotlighted a festive illustration by mosh merchants Anthrax, which featured Pandora Peroxide as both a snow(wo)man and a thought bubble love interest....

On the insistence of Aerosmith themselves, their official fan newsletter, Aero Force One, (volume 6, issue 1), ran the K! Pandora Peroxide strip which sent up the ludicrous controversy surrounding the pierced cow udder on their ‘Get A Grip’ album...

During an interview on Music Box TV, Ace Frehley of Kiss (also a Marmite nut...!) raved about a Pandora strip which featured him and Pandora Peroxide in a spacecraft bein’ sucked into a black hole, which, is ultimately revealed to be the bottle top of a gigantic jar of Marmite!  It’s... a visual gag....

For a time, the cavernous bottom floor of Nottingham Rock City was plastered wall-to-wall with Pandora Peroxide comic strips.

Bizarrely, after Pandora Peroxide’s unrelentin’ attacks on Brit rockers Skin, they invited her to appear on the artwork for their ‘94 ‘Look But Don’t Touch’ single, which featured Pandora kneeing some hapless gent in the nuts.


Alice Cooper wore a Pandora Peroxide T-shirt for an appearance on a breakfast TV show, where he got questioned about it on air.



Pandora Peroxide was mascot to a company that specialised in restoring Spitfire airplanes; they even had their own Pandora T-shirt.


The first time Guns N’ Roses ever saw themselves featured in a Pandora Peroxide strip, was backstage at The Apollo in Manchester. That night onstage, Axl declared, “Hey, check out the latest Kerrang! - we made Pandora! This next song is dedicated to her”. To which, they played ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’. In attendance and reviewing, was then K! scribe, Malcolm Dome, who exclaimed at the time, “I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing!”.

Pandora Peroxide strips feature in both the weighty Kiss ‘Kisstory’ book and the Kiss Marvel Comic one-off ‘Kiss Nation’. Without permission, by the way....


Aaaaaaaaand, more recently, in a feature in the April 2006 issue of Arena, the staff of the mag revealed their ‘Sexual Awakenings’, which featured the double ‘P’ lady.  Said they of her:  “...it’s a reflection on the quality of women in music at that time, that Pandora Peroxide was the only thing stimulating in the entire magazine”.
